Dumpster for kitchen and bathroom remodels
Remodel debris is exactly what Davenport's curbside service leaves behind. A container keeps the job moving.

| Job | Often fits | Heavy parts |
|---|---|---|
| Bathroom gut | 10-yard | Tile, mortar bed, cast iron tub |
| Kitchen tear-out | 15-yard | Stone or tile counters, plaster walls |
| Kitchen and bath together | 20-yard | All of the above |
| Flooring for several rooms | 10 to 15-yard | Tile and underlayment; carpet is light but bulky |
Older houses often have plaster and lath behind the paint. It's much heavier than drywall, so mention it when you call.
- Place the container near the door you'll carry through, with the rear door facing the house.
- Pull nails out of long boards or lay them flat so they don't snag.
- Keep the old fridge or range out; appliances go to the landfill or the city's bulky pickup.
- If your contractor's price already includes haul-away, you may not need a container at all. Ask.
Can drywall dust and bags of debris go in?
Bagged debris is fine. Keep bags tied so dust doesn't blow out on the road.
What about the old toilet and sink?
Porcelain fixtures are usually accepted as regular debris. Drain them first.
Got a pile and a date in mind?
One call reaches an independent dumpster rental company working the Davenport area. A rough idea of what's going in, and where the container can sit, is all you need to start.
